Cuando nuestra vivienda, nuestro perro o nuestro hijo perjudican a alguien y le provocan lesiones, daños materiales o perjuicios económicos; nos encontramos ante de un tema de Responsabilidad Civil clara, siempre y cuando no haya habido intencionalidad, dolo o mala fe.
Resulta que en todos estos casos estamos obligados a manifestar al tercero perjudicado o a sus herederos la existencia del contrato de seguro y su contenido, o sea, debemos facilitarle una copia de la póliza de seguro con todo su contenido para que esa persona pueda realizar una reclamación de acción directa contra la aseguradora.
En muchas ocasiones gente desinformada, con mala fe o mal asesorados no facilita los datos de su póliza que cubre su responsabilidad civil. Empresas que han provocado daños no facilitan los datos de su seguro a la víctima. Y ¿por qué cometen esta ilegalidad? ¡pero si no pasa nada por dar los datos del seguro! Por tanto, si como empresa, profesional, persona física, etcétera, alguien de tu entorno (familiares, empleados, etcétera) o tus bienes causan daños a una o varias personas, tienes la obligación legal de facilitarles una copia de tu seguro que cubre tu responsabilidad civil.
